Abstract

This article explores the history and impressive production of the project Editorial at the Center for Digital Culture in Mexico. Founded in 2014, Editorial has become a hub of creation and discussions on the digital cultural production in Mexico and in the Spanish-speaking world more broadly. The characteristics of Editorialoscillating between its functions as a government agency under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, and its independent publisher profile – have allowed its director Mónica Nepote, and a large number of collaborators, to build a non-expert audience for digital culture topics, to educate these publics on digital literacies and, at the same time, become a center for experimentation and innovation in both publishing praxis and the querying of the book role and other bibliographic objects in the 21st Century.

Authors who publish in Bibliographica automatically accept the following terms:
