Abstract

By using the bibliography on José Toribio Medina’s printing house in Puebla, this article offers a methodological exercise that shows the analytic potential of sources and practices typically used by scholars and bibliographers who, like the Chilean historian, decisively contributed to shape Americanism at the turn from 19th to 20th Century.
