Abstract

The “Vanegas Arroyo y Posada” Collection at El Colegio de San Luis’ Rafael Montejano y Aguiñaga Library was created in 2017 as a result of a donation of printed materials published by the editor Antonio Vanegas Arroyo in the period between the 19th and 20th centuries. The purpose of this article is to present this collection and detail its creation circumstances, its documents origin and general contents, as well as their preservation and dissemination processes. This text also highlights the impact of this collection in fostering the development of new research and the emergence of working groups specialized in studying these materials.
